Hello, Today is Tuesday and My sister was re-admitted back into the hospital.Lonna is not doing that great I think Mentally and Physically.The Chemo is extremely hard on Lonna. Lonna does not tolerate Oral medication and the chemo drugs are very toxic to her little weak body.

My mom and I are looking for Alternative help for Cancer Patients.
It is extensive re-search. It is very time consuming.
If anyone could just investigate on there own and research some different options that we might take with Lonna, it would be so helpful. If all of you could possibly look into one site and re-search and if you come across anything that is really something we need to get for Lonna regardless of where it is please let us know. IF all who love Lonna try and re-search different alternative treatments maybe we could come up with something. The world is a big place and if one of us finds something it could make a difference.

In December 2007, Lonna had hysterectomy and shortly afterward became ill with what the doctors believe was pneumonia and then MAC disease. With further tissue samples and testing she was diagnosed on May 9th with lung cancer. Three days later, she was admitted into the hospital with stage 4 Malignant Adeno Carcinoma. The doctors feel that chemotherapy is the only way to slow down this aggressive, fast-growing cancer.
The family is still holding on to the fact that there are miracles that happen every day. We are all fervently praying that Lonna Dee Keeth will be God's next miracle. This cancer has gripped her so unbelievably fast. On May 14th, the doctor put a medaport in Lonna's chest for her impending chemo therapy treatment. They no longer got Lonna out of surgery before the doctors wheeled her right back in for emergency surgery. Her lungs and her heart had life threatening fluid build up that had to be removed. On May 15th and 16th she layed in ICU starting to recover. At 10pm on the May 16th she had her first dose of chemo.
Today, May 17th, is a new day and we still have Lonna with us. Lonna is going to fight! Please fight with us! We need more angels like Lonna to continue walking amongst us. Lonna has a 12 year daughter named Halle Keeth, she is so beautiful just like her mother. Some of you might remember her from our inflight training video, she was the little unaccompanied minor that looked up at the flight attendant and had that one line, (don't talk to my mom that way), but she did say it perfectly. Most of Lonna's family are Continental employees in one facet or another. Her mother, Sandra Hayes, is a HTA flight attendant and her stepfather Dennis Baraga (Buzz) is in reservations. Lonna's Aunt Janet Shelton is a flight attendant and her Uncle Rob Shelton is a pilot.
From the beginning Continental Airlines has been so supportive to our entire family, we will forever be so grateful for all their kindness. Lonna has so many dear friends who are praying for her, loving her, and missing her. The family is asking all of you to please hold Lonnna Dee Keeth up in your prayers. People all over the world are praying for Lonna right now please join us in our prayers. Through this blog we will try to keep everyone updated frequently as we all go through this uncharted journey.

Lord God of the Universe,
We beseech Thee O Father,
in the name of Jesus Christ
in Thy Divine Wisdom, reveal to your children a way in which Lonna might find healing.
We trust You for Your answers.
We trust that not once have You ever left Lonna's side.
Please strengthen Lonna with the touch of Your Hand.
O merciful Father, Holy Spirit intercede on her behalf, in the name of Jesus, we pray for grace to trust You alone.
Search the Bible for healing scriptures and pray these over Lonna. And then trust Him with everything.

John Kanzius was on television on one of the morning shows and has come up with some new breakthrough that seems pretty astounding, I don't wamt to lead you down the wrong road, but thought he might be worth looking into. I think , however they are not yet testing on people. But, you never know, I hope this helps, Please pray about this, I trust the Lord will show you.

I too haveheard that the City Of Hope in California has one of the best care treatment for Cancerof all kinds . I and my family pray daily for Lonna . Thanx Vicky for the info.
We are in the city of "MD Anderson" where miracles happen every day. I think they may be a good resource for additional studies and trials.

MD Anderson is a world leading institute for Non-small cell lung cancer treatment. I would highly suggest contacting MD Anderson's treatment center. They should have access to tremendous amounts of informationl, and can navigate you quickly and easily to the needed information or references. Or, perhaps someone in the local vicinity can stop by for you.
